Most freshmen arrived on campus this week to participate in one of about 20 pre-orientation programs. On Wednesday night, close to 100 of these freshmen gathered to play Capture the Flag in the tunnels under and around the Infinite Corridor.
This summer the Prudential Building lit its windows in support of the Boston Bruins prior to their Stanley Cup win in June. This was a historic victory, as it was the first time the Bruins took the Cup since 1972.
Having a hunched posture (left) or an unnaturally arched back (right) are both signs of a weak core. With a strong core, posture will appear much like the center photo, with shoulders back and no stressful bends in the spine.

La Verde’s Market underwent renovations this week. The updates to the area near the deli counter include two new f’real milkshake machines, a f’real milkshake cooler, a smoothie machine, a new Coke machine, and at least one new coffee machine.
Rebecca J. Greene ’14 and Jessica M. Parker ’15 practice staff spinning on Thursday afternoon in front of one of East Campus’s annual construction projects for REX. This structure will consist of a spinning, oscillating compartment suspended by the triangular frame.
On Sunday, Aug. 26, East Campus had a cow in its courtyard. The cow, “Buckcherry,” was loaned to them for promotional purposes by Hilltown Grazers, the company from which the dorm purchases meat for dorm events.
