A boat rocks gently on the Charles on a warm Wednesday afternoon while sailboats run downwind beneath the John Hancock Tower.

Alfred N. Mireault ’15 of Kappa Sigma does a handstand on a less-than-stable platform Friday night during Alpha Phi’s King of Hearts in Kresge Auditorium. All proceeds from the event, a male beauty pageant featuring members from numerous MIT fraternities, went to the Alphi Phi Foundation to support research for women’s heart health.

Tommy Greenless of Walnut Creek, CA finished 36th in the men’s race with a time of 2:34:08.

This year the Boston Marathon featured over 22,000 runners, of which approximately 96% finished the race.

Runners are encouraged by supportive signs from the crowd.

The Student Art Association held its annual Spring Ceramic Sale yesterday in Lobby 10. The sale will continue today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in conjunction with the Glass Lab’s Mother’s Day sale.

The exterior of the MIT chapel, a nondenominational chapel dedicated in 1955. The chapel, designed by Eero Saarinen, is surrounded by a moat that reflects light into the interior of the chapel.

Reif also received a poster-sized hacker’s map, which shows MIT’s underground tunnel network.
