Fifteen teams from the MIT Founders’ Skills Accelerator and MIT Beehive Cooperative presented their entrepreneurial work last Saturday afternoon at Walker Memorial. The teams represented startups in the fields of energy, health care, and software, among others.

This photo as well as others appearing on page 6 were taken at the MIT Museum’s 15th annual Friday After Thanksgiving Chain Reaction Event in Rockwell Cage on Friday. Participants linked their individual chain reactions to form a large Rube Goldberg machine that transported a golf ball around the gym.

Joi Ito, director of the MIT Media Lab and Ethan Zuckerman, director of the MIT Center for Civic Media participated in a discussion on Thursday about the challenges of innovation within large structured organizations like big corporations and newspapers.
