On Friday, April 19, following news that the second suspect in Monday’s bombings had been captured, people, many students, gathered in the Boston Common to celebrate.




Dr. John H. Sununu ’61 discusses his political career as White House Chief of Staff under former president George H.W. Bush, the highest political position in America achieved by an Arab-American. Sununu received the World Contributor Award at the 2013 MIT Arab Students Organization Science and Technology Achievement Awards banquet on Saturday, May 4.




Many artists are attracted to Bexley and adorn the resident hall with their works. Bexley is one of the few dorms on campus that allows students to paint the walls.

The Space Center lounge in the Bexment, Bexley’s basement, is a common space where students come together. Some of the murals date back to the 1970s and 80s. Many MIT alumni have fond memories of the Bexment and come back to see how recent students have added art to its walls.
