Hundreds of paper cranes and origami flowers were draped on the MIT police cruiser in the Stata Center in honor of Officer Sean Collier.




At 2:45 p.m. on Monday, April 22, members of the MIT community stood hand in hand forming a human chain along Vassar Street from the Collier memorial at Stata to the MIT Campus Police station for a statewide moment of silence at 2:50 p.m.




The Penny Arcade mural on the first floor of Burton-Conner has recently been censored. The last two sentences originally read, “This floor will eviscerate you with pleasure. You will bleed to death.”




An 18-year-old MIT student fell four stories through a skylight at fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa shortly after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The student is alert and did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
