The MIT Community Picnic took place Monday in Killian Court, where tables and chairs were set up for a few who got there early enough to find a seat.



Lines for the free Community Picnic lunch stretched along both sides of Killian Court Monday. The tables remained well-stocked with food throughout most of the picnic.

Brooks stepped down as the director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, after serving as director for CSAIL and one of its predecessors for a total of 10 years.
