Andrea Y. Park ’13 jumps in an attempt to assure a goal scored by Alisha D. Lussiez ’12 during the Engineers’ soccer game versus Clark University. The goal secured the win for MIT, which won 2-0.



Students simulate a Wall Street trading pit during the Intercollegiate Trading Competition hosted by Traders@MIT in the Stata Center on Saturday. Ninety students from nine schools, including MIT, participated in the competition.



Patrick J. Vatterott ’13 spikes the ball in the men’s volleyball match against Endicott College in Rockwell Cage on Tuesday. The Engineers fell to Endicott in the last set.



Kresge Oval remains an expanse of bare dirt, devoid of grass for nearly four weeks. Norman H. Magnuson, Jr., manager of grounds for Facilities, said last week that the grass will be back and the field usable before Thursday, when Campus Preview Weekend begins. Magnuson said that the wet weather was the cause of the delay. Facilities workers were out with a bulldozer and landscaping equipment yesterday.
