Since loose bricks were discovered on Random Hall’s front facade in March, scaffolding has been erected in order to make repairs to the MIT dormitory on Massachusetts Avenue. The building will be closed for the whole summer, but is scheduled to reopen for the fall semester.

The Prudential Center was lit up during Game 6 of the World Series this Wednesday night. The Red Sox ended up clinching the World Series at home that night, their first time since 1918.




The intersection at Amherst St. and Mass. Ave. was crowded with police, paramedics, and firemen on Wednesday evening at around half past five after an accident involving a driver and a motorcyclist. Debris from the car was scattered about, and a few small puddles of blood covered in frozen bleach were visible on the street at the southwest corner of the intersection, though the motorcycle itself seemed to have escaped relatively unscathed. No specific information regarding the status of the motorcyclist had yet been released as of Thursday evening.
