A taxi driver crashed into a light pole in front of Building 34 on Saturday afternoon. The driver told a Cambridge Police officer (pictured) that he swerved to avoid a head-on collision when a car, travelling in the opposite direction, tried to pass another car. Vassar Street only has one lane in each direction at the site of the crash.
