Kirk D. Kolenbrander, MIT’s Vice President for Institute Affairs, has been named secretary-elect of the MIT Corporation after the Corporation voted at its meeting last Friday. Kolenbrander, who was nominated by President Susan Hockfield for the position, will assume the office on July 1.
