Police Log

The following incidents were reported to the Cambridge or MIT Police between May 5 and May 12, 2006. This summary does not include incidents such as suspicious activity, false alarms, or medical shuttles.

May 5: [Updated information], Senior House (70 Amherst St.), 11:50 p.m., Daniel Jacobs, 129 Franklin St., Cambridge, after being observed entering and exiting the building was arrested for trespassing after notice (first offense) and possession of class C controlled substance.

May 6: [No address given], 9:30 a.m., sexual assault reported to MIT PD by third party, also to Cambridge PD sexual assault unit (confidential file); disposition: open.

May 7: Walker Memorial (142 Memorial Dr.), 2 a.m., breaking & entering, damage to door.

May 8: PD White bikepath opposite Ashdown House (305 Memorial Dr.), 10:30 a.m., attempted kidnapping; as victim was traveling E on bicycle an unknown black male, late 30s, traveling S in a white (’90-model?) sedan (red plates?) stopped in front of her and said, “Get into the car.”

May 12: Baker House (362 Memorial Dr.), 3:15 a.m., Alfred Sneade, homeless, reported fleeing out of the building, arrested for burglary.
