Weather: Saints, Souls and SandwichesBy Leah Hutchison -- After binging on Halloween candy last night, you may feel out of the holiday spirit for a while. But the holiday season has just begun and this weekend is the perfect example of fall weather: cold with a chance of flurries. A low pressure system from Northern Canada will elbow its way into New England, bringing clouds and a slight chance of flurries Friday evening. This system will also bring colder air for the weekend, so expect temperatures in the mid 30s ºF. There is a chance of flurries Saturday night. The system will move out of the area by Sunday night, bathing Boston in starry skies.
And if you give All Saints’ Day (today) and All Souls’ Day (tomorrow) a miss, make sure to celebrate Sandwich Day on Sunday with a triple-decker turkey club or meatball sub.
Today: Cloudy. High of 49ºF (9ºC).
Tonight: Partly cloudy with a chance of flurries. Low of 23ºF (-5ºC).
Saturday: Partly sunny, cold. High of 38ºF (3ºC).
Sunday: Partly sunny and cold. Clear skies at night. Daytime high of 36ºF (2ºC). Overnight low of 20ºF (-7ºC)
