Erratum

Yesterday’s article on first-year freshman programs [“Alternative Academic Programs Offered”] omitted one option, the Media Arts and Sciences Freshmen Program, in which students enroll in a special advising seminar and two MAS courses, and attend MAS recitations of Physics (8.01) and Introduction to Solid-State Chemistry (3.091). The program emphasizes connections between these first-year courses and current research at the MIT Media Laboratory.
