Weather: WeatherThunderstorms Possible, Just Like Bids
CHAIRMAN -- Guess what folks? The weather in Cambridge, Mass., is going to be warm, humid, and mostly cloudy. Expect a high around 79°F (26°C) with thunderstorms scattered throughout the day. This shouldn’t be too much of a surprise for August in New England. It will be partly cloudy in Cambridge, England and about ten degrees cooler (six degrees cooler in Celsius). They use Celsius and other metric scales regularly in England. We should do the same in the United States. Unfortunately for the Brits, baseball has not caught on as well as the metric system in the United Kingdom.
The Red Sox are off today, but they will be back on the diamond tomorrow to take on the Cleveland Indians. The Sox will be playing at Jacobs Field under a partly cloudy sky. Tomorrow evening’s temperature in Cleveland will be a cool 59°F (15°C). The pennant race is heating up, and it looks like we are in for a good September for Major League Baseball.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms, humid, 79°F (26°C)
Tonight: Phi v. Ari, Atl v. LA, isolated thunderstorms, 62°F (17°C)
Tomorrow: Bos v. Cle, Bal v. Oak, partly cloudy, 79°F (26°C)
