Sunny Today, But Rain on Horizon

By Dana Levine
EDITOR IN CHIEF -- Right now my magic eight ball is looking pretty gloomy. For all of you who were wishing for a rain-free rush, that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. And as Miss Cleo teaches: the cards never lie.

Some time tonight, the skies will fill with clouds and thunder heads will appear. Then, things will get worse as all of Monday’s rush events are rained out. Unfortunately, the temperatures won’t really go down much, so you will be both wet and hot. It is fortunate that the sweat won’t soak through your clothes before it is washed away, but that doesn’t sound like all that much fun to me. Hopefully Tuesday will be better, although that isn’t certain yet.

So I hope that you have been having a good time with rush so far, because this is your last opportunity. Next year there may be something else, but it won’t be called rush. So enjoy it while it lasts, and take the opportunity to pack your houses (this is good for you dorm people, too, because fewer people will be crowded next year).

Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day. Little frat boys (and sorority girls, and FSILG people) want to play.

Today: Mostly sunny. High in the upper 70s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low in the lower 70s.

Monday: Chance of thunderstorms. High in the lower 80s.

Tuesday: Sunny. High in the lower 80s.
