Massachusetts Primary Information
Massachusetts participates in the pivotal “Super Tuesday” primary today, with
118 Democratic and 37 GOP delegates on the line. Party members must vote in their primary, while independent voters may take their pick. The primary is “winner-take-all”, meaning one candidate in each party obtains all of the delegates. 605 GOP and 1315 Democrat delegates are up for grabs today. In the GOP race, Bush leads McCain 208-104 in the race for 1,034 delegates needed to win. Gore leads Bradley 42-27 of 2,168 delegates needed.
