Weather: Temperature Low on Coast; Several Hundred Degrees in Killian
By Michael C. Morgan and Gerard RoeStaff Meteorologists
Weak winds beneath a departing anticyclone will allow a sea breeze to develop this afternoon. With ocean temperatures offshore in the 40s (68 °C), temperatures along the immediate coast will have a tough time reaching the mid 60s (1719 °C). Further inland, away from the effects of the onshore wind, temperatures will reach the low 70s (57 °C). In Killian Court, however, there will be a diurnal change of several hundred degrees.
A cyclone should stay to the south sparing Southern New England from significant precipitation throungh Sunday.
