Police Log

The following incidents were reported to the Campus Police between Jan. 16 and 22:

Jan. 16: Bldg. 20, software stolen, $625; problem with student in exercise room in Du Pont Gymnasium; McDermott Court, suspicious vehicle.

Jan. 17: Bldg E51, suspicious activity; Bldg. NE43, laptop stolen, $4,745; Du Pont men's locker room, wallet and watch stolen from, $120; Ashdown House, harassing phone calls; Student Center, trespassing; 478 Beacon Street, complaint of loud music from Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Jan. 18: Bldg. E17, suspicious person with large handbag using computer.

Jan. 19: Student Center, assault and battery between persons know to each other; Student Center Gameroom, victim of past armed robbery believes subject present.

Jan. 20: Tang Hall, apartment door found open, cause was open window; Bldg. 56, piano stolen, later recovered; Bldg. 3, computer stolen, $5,500; Bldg. 48, messenger bag stolen, $20; Bldg. E18, suspicious person.

Jan. 21: Bldg. 2, Lawrence Smith, address unknown, arrested for trespassing; Bldg 9, 1) laptop stolen, $1,700; 2) compact disc player and computer speakers stolen, $280; 3) cash stolen, $70; 4) cash stolen, $7; 5) video camera stolen, $800; Bldg. 2, three chairs stolen, $600; Kappa Sigma, jacket stolen, $200; Alumni Pool, wallet stolen, $20; Bldg. E18, Audrey Anderson, 55 Queensbury Street, Boston, arrested for trespassing.

Jan. 22: Bldg. E51, bicycle stolen, $395; Pritchett Snack Bar, jacket stolen, $150; Bldg. 13, suspicious person.
