Mixed Outlook
By Gerard RoeStaff Meteorologist
The air over us is dominated by a large cyclonic system sitting over eastern Newfoundland, bringing us dry clear weather out of southern Canada. During the next few days a system developing over Texas will bring moisture in our direction, meaning that on late Thursday and Friday cold rain or snow is likely. Temperatures will fall going into the weekend as the cold air digs in behind the departing storm.
Today: Partly sunny, with gusty winds out of the northwest. High 34°F (1°C), although it will feel colder because of the wind
Tonight: Clear. Low 22°F (-6°C).
Thursday: Less windy but becoming cloudy. High clouds at first, then overcast toward evening. Chance of light rain or snow overnight. High 38°F (3°C). Low 27°F (-3°C)
Friday: Likelihood or rain and/or snow depending on the progression of the storm. High around 40°F (5°C). Low 22°F (-6°C).
