MIT students understand meaning of Christmas
The Elizabeth Peabody House would like to express heartfelt thanks to all of the students at MIT who participated in the donation of more than 250 presents to the children and youth of Somerville. Gifts were purchased with each individual child in mind and were beautifully
wrapped. Many students even took the time to include a note from "Santa." The many of the gifts were sent to children in needy families, and parents were touched your generosity.
We would also like to thank the MIT Public Service Center
for organizing this very generous contribution. This gesture of giving and community service shows that the students at MIT know the true meaning of Christmas.
