Ahead of Saturday’s Relay for Life, groups around campus publicized the event by adopting its purple color scheme. For their part, hackers illuminated the great dome and other prominent areas of campus with purple light. As of press time, the American Cancer Society reports that 920 participants at MIT have raised a combined $55,753 to support cancer patients and research. Registration for the all-night event closes today.
